Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask. (Don't worry, we won't judge.)

We're a social club for competitive shooters who have excellent taste in firearms and average taste in marksmanship. Our members share two defining characteristics: disposable income and the unwavering belief that a better trigger will fix their splits. It won't. But that's never stopped us from buying one.

At this point, we're honestly not sure if we buy guns to get better at shooting, or if we shoot to have an excuse to buy more guns. Either way, we're here and our wallets are lighter.

We're all competitive shooters, so yes, you need to be into competing. But you don't actually have to be very good. You just need to have More Money Than Skill and maybe want to get better. So you can make more money. To spend on guns. To get better. You see where this goes.

Yes.

Handguns, rifles, shotguns, everything from budget beaters to safe queens worth more than your car. Nobody's going to judge you for what you bring. They will, however, judge you for what you paid for it — and then ask where to get one.

Annual dues depend on your chapter, but full membership in our flagship Las Vegas chapter is $100 per year for Full Members, $50 for Associate Members, and free for Friends of CGC. That's less than a box of Hornady match ammo, and significantly more entertaining. Dues cover range day costs, event organization, and keeping the whole operation running.

No. You can compete with a Hi-Point if that's your jam. But you do have to own at least one firearm — pistol, rifle, shotgun, PCC, belt-fed crew served weapons — with a retail value over what your ranking requires.

Each chapter is a local group with its own Chapter Leader, calendar, and personality. They organize range days and social events, and members show up together at local competitions. You join the chapter nearest you — or start your own if there isn't one.

Yes, and we want you to. We're actively expanding and provide everything you need: branding, operational support, legal guidance, and exclusive territory rights. Head to the Chapters page or reach out to us directly.

You know what we call fancy expensive guns in the shooting community, right? That's right: Gucci Guns. Well, we used to be called something else, but Gucci didn't care for that. I mean, they support anti-2A groups and hate pew pews, so... they sent their lawyers after us. We decided not to spend money that could go towards ammo and more guns on lawyers, so... we got canceled. And here we are.

Non-negotiable. Every member follows the four fundamental rules of firearm safety at all times. Range days have designated safety officers. If you're new, we'll walk you through everything — no judgment. If you're experienced and get sloppy, you'll hear about it. This is the one area where we're dead serious.
